Dead Space 3 Blueprint Locations Guide

Posted by The Controller Online Staff | 08 Feb 2013 |

Gotta build ‘em all.

Dead Space 3′s crafting system can create some pretty crazy weapons, if you have the materials to spend but there are still a handful of old school blueprints scattered around Tau Volantis. This guide will help you find them all.

Dead Space 3 Blueprint

While you can purchase a ton of crazy blueprints, those who want to complete the game in classic mode (which disables the crafting system) will want to know all twelve of the blueprint locations. Please note, the first blueprint is found in Chapter 4 so we’ll start there.

Chapter 4:

Shotgun – In the Repair Bay, go left through the door and the Shotgun blueprint will be next to a body, lying on the ground.

Chapter 8:

Bolas Gun – In the first building, this blueprint will be on a desk over to the left.

Chapter 9:

Medic Support Handgun – Go past the second pump, and up the ladder, you will find this blueprint in the control room near the Supply Depot key.

Pulse Rifle – Enter the building, after the first big fight, go through the second door and up a ladder on the right. You’ll find the Pulse Rifle on the left of this room.

Heavy Metal Thunder – You can find my personal favorite weapon, Heavy Metal Thunder, during the optional mission called Supply Depot. After lowering the bridge, you’ll find a door that needs to be opened with a Torque Bar. Inside, you’ll find this blueprint.

Chapter 11:

Contact Beam – Once you enter the Armory, take the elevator and look for a label on the floor that says “Raised Hall”. Look for some lockers on the left and you’ll see this blueprint.

Chapter 13:

Hun EI-Badger – When the chapter begins, go around the first building and you’ll find this blueprint on a crate.

Chapter 14:

Seeker Rifle – On the way to the entrance to the lab, head left before you get there and this blueprint will be sitting on the treads of a snow vehicle.

Hot Death – Open the Torque Door bar inside the Geology Department to find this blueprint.

Show Stopper – Found in the supply crate at the end of the optional mission, Reaper Barracks.

Chapter 16:

Javelin Gun – When you are making your way down the cliff, after the large necromorphs attack, land on the walkway and you’ll find this blueprint on the right side of the catwalk.
