Get intelligent.
During the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 campaign, you’ll come across 33 pieces of Intel. You’ll have to collect all of these to unlock the High IQ Achievement/Trophy. Below is a full list of the Intel Locations. As always, there may be minor SPOILERS in the location descriptions below so beware if you haven’t completed the campaign.
Mission – Pyrrhic Victory:
Intel 1: After you get off the truck go forward and, you’ll see a truck on the right. The Intel is to the right of the truck in the mortar pit.
Intel 2: Once you are on the boat, go to the upper deck on the left side, and you will find the Intel on your right.
Intel 3: While heading to the evac, you’ll come across a set of sniper blinds in the trees. In the second set of sniper perches, the Intel is on the first sniper perch to your left.
Mission – Celerium:
Intel 1: On the Helipad, stay on the left and follow the wall. There will be a room to your left and the Intel will be inside.
Intel 2: When you enter the underground facility, in the main room on the left is an office and the Intel will be on the desk.
Intel 3: After freeing Erik, there will be a room opposite the room that contains the Celerium. The Intel will be in there.
Mission – Old Wounds:
Intel 1: In the cave, once the cut-scene is over, head right and the Intel will be against the wall.
Intel 2: Once you’re on horseback, you will see a large, pointy rock formation with a red flag on the bottom. The Intel is next to the flag.
Intel 3: After defending the weapons cache, cross the bridge and you’ll see a cave.The Intel will be inside.
Mission – Time and Fate:
Intel 1: At the end of the barn with the horses, there will be a wagon filled with hay on the right and the Intel will be in the back of the wagon.
Intel 2: When attacking the mansion, you’ll see a bell tower on the right. Climb up two ladders and the Intel will be on the floor.
Intel 3: Inside the cocaine lab, the Intel willbe on a bench on the left.
Mission – Fallen Angel:
Intel 1: Inside the first room, look to the right and you’ll see the Intel on some shelves.
Intel 2: Once you enter the alley, after dodging the bus, there should be a smaller alleyway to your right and the Intel will be in it.
Intel 3: After sneaking past the two drones, you’ll see the Intel sitting on a pile of rubble.
Mission – Karma:
Intel 1: Inside the server room, the Intel will be on the right, near the back corner.
Intel 2: Once you’re in the mall, find the store called “d’HO.” The Intel will be on a counter at the back.
Intel 3: After leaving the mall, you’ll enter a large open area. Find the Intel inside a shopping cart on the right side of this area.
Mission – Suffer with Me:
Intel 1: After dropping down from the catwalk, there will be a staircase going down. To the left of the staircase will be some shelves, the Intel will be on them.
Intel 2: While escorting Norieg, you will come to an area with a red building and a church. There will be another building with a hole blown in the side and the Intel will be inside it.
Intel 3: After the cut-scene, go straight down the hallway and you will come across the Intel.
Mission – Achilles Veil:
Intel 1: On the right side of the courtyard, there is a staircase that leads to a small tower. The Intel will be up the stairs.
Intel 2: Once you switch characters, you’ll enter an alley and be told to take the left route. There will be a building that has an enemy shooting from the window. The Intel is inside this building, behind some crates.
Intel 3: After leaving the town, look for a white building and the Intel will be on the roof of this building.
Mission – Odysseus:
Intel 1: On the right side of the bridge, look for a computer console that will have the Intel on it.
Intel 2: Once you meet with Briggs, before going down to the hangar, there will be a room-full of computers and a staircase to the right. The Intel is up the staircase on a table.
Intel 3: On the right of the deck there will be a plane, the Intel will be on the plane.
Mission – Cordis Die:
Intel 1: After rappelling down, go left and you will see a blown out car and a police motorcycle. The Intel is behind the blown out car.
Intel 2: Once you get off the truck, on the left will be a building in which you’ll find the Intel on a counter.
Intel 3: Insde the plaza, go up the stairs and look for a store on the right, The Intel will be on the bottom shelf.
Mission – Judgement Day:
Intel 1: Look for the building marked “27.” The Intel will be on the second floor.
Intel 2: Once you’re back inside, the Intel is on the left side of the third row inside the control room.
Intel 3: In the circular room with multiple staircases, head down and you will find the Intel on top of a crate.
