Zombie arm bottle opener? Yes please.
Deep Silver are taking an interesting approach when it comes to selecting the items to include in the Dead Island Riptide Collector’s Edition, by letting you vote on what you’d like to see included.
By taking a quick survey, you can pick from a list of items that you’d like or not like to see in the Collector’s Edition that they are “thinking about doing”, so there is a chance that the Collector’s Edition will never see the light of day.
The problem that I have with the list of items is that none of them are in-game content, which is what I would want first and foremost. Novelty items like a Zombie arm bottle opener or Dead Island pillowcases would be pretty cool, but I would much rather get in-game content like bonus weapons and gear, or even download tokens for any DLC that they may release. Those are the things that I like to get in Collector’s Editions, but since there isn’t any of that to vote for, everyone should vote for the Zombie arm bottle opener, pillowcases and the headset, because it’s always nice to have a spare headset.
