It may not be at midnight, but at least it’s early.
Skylanders Giants is set to release this Sunday in North America, which may seem like an odd day to release a video game, but if you think about it, it’s actually pretty perfect. If they released it on Tuesday, parents would be working and kids would be in school, but on Sunday everyone is home. By doing this though, they prevent stores from having midnight release openings since they can’t open at midnight on Sunday, but they can open a little bit earlier on Sunday morning.
