Are you ready for some free football?
It may not be the most exciting update ever, but this month Playstation Plus subscribers in North America are getting NFL Blitz added to their Instant Games Collection and discounts on Alex Kidd in Middle World and Spelunker HD.
I really enjoyed NFL Blitz when it was released earlier this year, and when you consider that they also just added the Starhawk single player campaign to the Instant Games Collection too, it’s not that bad of a month. It’s also worth noting that Borderlands will be removed from the Instant Games Collection tomorrow, so you should download it now if you haven’t already.
Update: Sony has revealed the EU PS Plus Content for October.
PS Plus members in Europe will receive Resident Evil 5, Bulletstorm and Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit in the Instant Games Collection and then the below discounts as well:
- 3rd October: Spelunker HD – 50% off the full game and 50% off various DLC packs for two weeks
- 10th October: Derrick the Deathfin – 30% off
- 17th October: Dogfight 1942 – 50% off a bundle including the full game and two DLC packs
- 24th October: Hell Yeah! Wrath of Dead Rabbit – 20% off DLC packs
Sony also confirmed that they will be removing Red Dead Redemption, Saints Row 2 and Lara Croft & The Guardian of Light from the Instant Games Collection in EU this month, so you should download them now if you haven’t already.
