Usually we think of the Halo games in terms of either campaign or multiplayer, but this time there’s a third option; Spartan Ops. Spartan Ops is an additional, episodic, campaign for you to tackle with your friends, outside of the main campaign that stars Master Chief.
The Spartan Ops Season One campaign will run in ten weekly episodes, each with five missions, and will be free to anyone who owns Halo 4. Episode One will ship on the disc with Halo 4, and the rest of the episodes will be downloadable as they become available. Also, even though Spartan Ops is designed for co-op play, you can still play it solo. So it’s more like a bonus campaign, if you ask me.
