I’m pretty sure “The Whalers” is copyrighted, isn’t it?
If you’re like me, you loved Dishonored and you likely immediately started playing it for a second time as soon as you finished it. Bethesda and Arkane are feeling the same way so they’ve announced that Dishonored will be getting some whale flavored DLC, very soon.
Starting with the Dunwall City Trials, in December, this DLC will set you back $4.99 and will include ten challenge maps that will test your stealth and combat skills with one map being a battle arena where you must survive waves of enemies.
Two more DLC packs are planned for 2013, the first of which will focus on Daud, and his crew of supernatural assassins, The Whalers. These second two DLC packs will add new areas and missions directly to the main single player campaign in Dishonored. We’ll have details on the third pack when they become available.
I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting any substantial DLC to be added to Dishonored, but I’ll take any excuse to play one of my favorite games from 2012.
