And it’s free!
When Starhawk patch 1.04 is released next week, on September 25th, it’s not only going to make quite a few changes to the game, but it’s going to add some free new content as well.
LightBox announced on their official blog yesterday that the latest patch would include five new multiplayer maps and three new multiplayer modes. Again, all for free. Changes to the game include new Build and Battle loadouts, tool tips, more pickups and rift barrels, more rift energy in Homeworlds, recommended player counts and more. Of course the patch is going to be free but the fact that the multiplayer maps and modes are free as well is pretty awesome.
As if the free new content wasn’t enough, Lightbox didn’t stop there and announced on the Playstation Blog that the Starhawk Single Player Campaign will be free to download for all PS Plus members starting on Sept 25th as well. You can also buy the full game for $39.99 or just the multiplayer portion for $19.99, but I know that doesn’t sound quite as good after all that free stuff.
