It’s both new, and New.
With all the recent news surrounding the Wii U’s release date announcement, you had to know we’d be getting a better look at New Super Mario Bros. U than we did at E3 2012. This new info comes in the form of a new trailer focusing on gameplay.
New Super Mario Bros. U will allow co-op play for up to five people, and some adversarial game types in the form of the newly announced Challenge Mode. This latest chapter in Mario’s storied history will also allow a different type of co-op where one player uses a Wii Remote to control Mario and another player uses the Wii U Gamepad to assist the player by adding in new platforms.
Super Mario Bros. U will launch on November 18th, when the Wii U does and you can watch the new trailer below:
