Plus the new ‘Agent Hunt’ mode.
Japanese gaming mag Famitsu, In their latest issue, dished out some new info on Resident Evil 6 and, as long time series fan, this info is pretty juicy. First, Resident Evil’s perennial bad girl, Ada Wong, will be getting her own playable portion of the campaign.
Much like Resident Evil 4′s ‘Assignment Ada’, this campaign will be unlocked after you finish all three of the main character’s stories and will be strictly single player. As before, Ada’s story will be shorter than the other campaigns but I’m glad to see her back in any capacity. You can check out that trailer directly below but, wait, there’s more!
The other big new out of this issue is that Resident Evil 6 will be taking a page out of the book of Dark Souls and allow players to invade each other’s campaigns as enemies in what is being called ‘Agent Hunt Mode’. This new mode is completely optional, and will have it’s own leaderboards, but if you opt in you may encounter player controlled enemies inside your campaign. Players who can talk to each other to plan your demise.
