Get ready to drop the puck.
EA Sports announced yesterday that a demo for NHL 13 will drop on both Xbox Live and the Playstation Network next week on August 21st.
The demo will allow access to four different modes: Play Now, NHL Moments Live, Hockey Ultimate Team, and Free Skate. You can replay the third period between the Devils and Kings in Free Play, replay Overtime from Game Five of the Western Conference Final between the Coyotes and Kings in NHL Moments Live, compete against Team USA in Hockey Ultimate Team and practice your skills in Free Skate.
The NHL 13 demo will also offer you the chance to earn three different HUT Item Packs by inviting a friend to download the demo, beating Team USA in HUT and by completing the moment in the NHL Moments Live mode. Any HUT packs that you unlock will carry over to the full version of NHL 13 once it’s released.
