Better late than never?
EA has been teasing that something is coming to SSX this summer for a while now but today they may have given themselves away. The video they released today can only be showing some sort of head to head multiplayer mode.
The above image, taken from the video, clearly shows the text “Heat will start when two more Riders are ready.” This, coupled with the leaderboard on the right hand side of the screen would seem to confirm that head to head multiplayer is being added to SSX. If you haven’t played the latest SSX game, it has many online features like asynchronous tournament events but any sort of live, head to head, multiplayer was curiously absent at the time of its release.
