QuakeCon 2012 is going on right now and iD and Bethesda are giving us a look inside the Doom 3 BFG Edition. Specifically, a look at some brand new content for Doom 3 that will only be included with the BFG Edition. Have a look at the Lost Mission.
The Lost Mission is eight brand new levels that form a brand new expansion pack for Doom 3. In the Lost Mission you’ll return to Mars as the last surviving member of Union Aerospace Corporation’s Bravo Team to battle the forces of Hell, once again. This is on top of the fact that you’re getting Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3 and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil already in this package.
Doom 3: BFG Edition will be released on October 16th, 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Check out the Lost Mission trailer below:
