A Closer Look At The Weapons In Halo 4

Pump up the volume for this one.

343 Industries have released a new video for Halo 4 which focuses on the sounds of the weapons, but it also gives us a great look at the new and improved arsenal in the game as well.

The video is meant to showcase the “completely rebuilt sounds effects” for each weapon, but I was paying so much attention to what my eyes were seeing that I forgot to really listen to it as well, so you may want to watch it once and then close your eyes and just listen to it the second time. The video includes classic Halo weapons such as the Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, DMR, Magnum, Shotgun and Rocket Launcher, with some of the new weapons in Halo 4 such as the SAW and the Railgun getting some air time as well.

As a side note, I love that 343 Industries decided to include both the Battle Rifle and the DMR in Halo 4, since the Halo community seems to be divided as to which one is better. Personally I prefer the DMR, but I know there are just as many, if not more, fans of the Battle Rifle out there as well.

Check out the video below to see, and hear, the weapons in action.
