An Xbox Live service alert has been issued.
We don’t have a whole lot of info at this time, but Xbox Support has issued a service alert for Xbox Live. Users will be unable to sign into Xbox Live on their console and may be unable to sign in to Xbox Live via Xbox.com
Microsoft has not provided an ETA at this time, but have notified us that they are actively investigating the issue. Check back here for more updates as we will be monitoring the situation.
Update #1 – Microsoft are also listing Zune.net as being inaccessible. Everybody panic! We’re not sure if the two outages are related yet as we’re still waiting for comment from Microsoft.
Update #2 – Xbox Support, as of 1:00PM EST, sent out an update that they are still investigating and still don’t have an ETA for restoring services.
Update #3 – Xbox Support has notified us that the issue is now resolved, no comment on what the cause was.
