Just when you thought they couldn’t add anything new…
I’ll start by saying that, if you’re a real Hockey fan, one that studies the game, you’re going to be blown away. If you’re a casual fan, you’ll still be impressed with the first gameplay footage from EA Sports NHL13.
You’ll really get to see the new skating system at work here, and it is something, but much more is revealed here. A number of the little things that are really integral to a true hockey game have been introduced in NHL 13. Goalie threat awareness, chopping the puck out of the zone, fluid transitions to back skating and cuts in and out are just a few of the things that Gameplay Producer, Ben Ross will talk you through in this video.
