The beloved Sega Saturn Classic is back.
Sega have made an announcement today that is sure to make a lot of retro fans happy, NiGHTS Into Dreams… is getting it’s own downloadable, HD release this fall. Even those of you that didn’t own a Sega Saturn have likely seen screens or videos of this iconic flying platformer.
“The SEGA Saturn offered many unique gaming experiences, and NiGHTS into dreams… stands out as one of the most recognizable titles that found a home on the system,” said Chris Olson, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA. “We’ve gotten a lot of requests about this game over the years, and are very happy to be able to give both former Saturn owners and new players a chance to play it in its most beautiful form to date this fall.”
This release of NiGHTS will feature updated 16:9 graphics as well as a Saturn mode in which you can play the game with the original Sega Saturn visuals. NiGHTS into dreams HD will be available, this fall, on the Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network and PC download. Have a look at the trailer below:
