Since it was scrapped, and subsequently brought back from the dead by Platinum Games, we haven’t seen a whole lot on Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Though it does manage to simultaneously win worst game name and best made up word, Revengeance is looking like a lot of fun and Platinum Games have released a combat video detailing one of Raiden’s new tools; Blade Mode.
Blade Mode function much like Max Payne’s bullet time but instead of lining up head shots, you’re lining up decapitations. You’ll be able to dice up enemies into the finest of slices or take out a bad guy’s gun arm with precision and grace.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is scheduled for release in “early 2013″ and you can watch the new gameplay video below:
