Sam’s first DLC announced.
Croteam and Devolver Digital announced today that they will be releasing the “Jewel of the Nile” DLC for Serious Sam 3 this fall.
Set to release for the PC in October, “Jewel of the Nile” will feature three new campaign missions and will include two weapons that were previously only found as secrets in Serious Sam 3; the Lasergun and the Sniper Rifle.
Croteam offered this as an official description of the DLC:
Serious Sam 3: Jewel of the Nile follows the legendary hero to the mysterious Temple of Isis on the island of Philae where a monstrous temple guardian lies in wait. Set in the midst of the main Serious Sam 3: BFE storyline, gamers will battle through three new campaign missions against the unrelenting hordes of Mental’s forces including the re-introduction of two familiar monstrous faces
There’s no word yet on whether this DLC will also be available for the Xbox Live Arcade version of Serious Sam 3, which is set to release in the Fall as well, but we’ll update once we know more.
