Assassin’s Creed 3 Will Feature A New Co-op Mode

“I just added two more guys to my wolfpack”

Last night at Comic-Con, Ubisoft revealed a new cooperative mode for Assassin’s Creed 3 called Wolfpack, which puts you and your team in a race against the clock to eliminate your targets.

In Wolfpack, you will start with a set amount of time on the clock, which will start counting down after you kill your first target, with each kill earned adding more time to the clock. Eliminate all of the marked enemies before the time runs out and you win. The targets won’t just stand around waiting for you though, as if you alert them by killing another target close to them they will run off and try to hide from you. This forces you to spend precious time hunting them down again, so working together as a team to take out large groups will be key in certain situations.

So far Wolfpack sounds like a fast-paced, unique approach to the standard survival mode that every game seems to think it needs these days, and much like Ghost Recon Future Soldier’s Guerilla mode, Ubisoft may have another winner on their hands here. I can’t wait to try it out.
