Learn more about the new A.I system.
We’ve heard EA Sports talk a lot about their new True Performance Skating system in NHL 13, but it’s not the only aspect of the game to get a massive overhaul, with the A.I receiving a brand new system as well, called Hockey IQ.
In this new video, NHL 13 Producer Sean Ramjagsingh walks us through some of the ways that Hockey IQ improves the A.I, including how goalies and defensemen are aware of all players on the ice now, instead of just the player with the puck. It was pretty easy to score on a one-timer in previous games and there is nothing worse than losing to someone who doesn’t play the game very often but can get a few easy one-timers. Hopefully Hockey IQ works as good as they say it does, and those players will actually have to learn a thing or two about hockey to win a game.
