Release date pushed back to December.
You now have one less game to worry about eating into your time in September, as Ubisoft have confirmed that Far Cry 3 has been moved from its September 4th release date to three months later on December 4th in North America and November 29th in EU.
“We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience,” said Dan Hay, producer at Ubisoft. “Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.”
As much as more time to make the game better is nice, I have to wonder if it’s a smart business move to release your game just shortly after Halo 4 and Call of Duty Blacks Ops 2 are released. Either way, I’m excited for Far Cry 3 and hopefully it’s even better with the extra time.
