Infinity Ward Releasing Terminal Map Remake For Modern Warfare 3

A free gift for their fans.

Lately there has been a lot of talk about Infinity Ward remaking some older Call of Duty multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare 3 and last week Executive Producer Mark Rubin confirmed that Modern Warfare 2′s Terminal map is going to be released as free DLC for MW3.

Although they have yet to confirm a release date, other than “soon”, or if it would be a timed exclusive on the Xbox 360 like previous MW3 DLC, Infinity Ward did state that the Terminal remake will be released to everyone for free, Elite memberships or not. So that’s pretty cool of them. It may only be one map remake, so far anyway, but when you add in the two free Face Off maps they released last month, Activision has been in a surprisingly giving mood lately.

Rubin also said that they were unsure on what other maps, if any would be remade, but that he would love to remake Modern Warfare 2′s Highrise. If they did remake more maps, what ones would you like to see redone for Modern Warfare 3? Let us know in the comments below.

highrise would be great but i really would like to see sub base remade as well it was one of the greatest maps on MW2 top 5 if you ask me…top 5 were Terminal, Sub Base, Highrise, Scrapyard, and Skidro….if they were to remake more then i would hope at least 2 of the 5 not including terminal would be a part of the remakes.

why oh why can I not play one on one with my buddy on mw3 we have the same clan name but have no desire to up our xp just play as there are so many cheating gits on line the moment anyway can’t you sort them out before picking on the innocent, if indeed someone has made a complaint against us it is not founded and thats all I have to say on the matter.

While I seriously doubt this would happen, I would love for them to bring back some maps from Black Ops. Although they were developed by two different companies, the game had some of the best COD maps ever. And if I had to pick from the game, they would Nuke Town (for face off and free for all games) and Kowloon (in order to bring new elements into the standard run and gun). Although if they only brought them in from other MW titles, I would want Wet Work, Crashed, Rust, and Favela/Wasteland.
