Ubisoft are continuing to do everything right at E3 2012 and instead of showing us all they had, in one shot, at their own press conference they waited until the Sony press conference to detail one of the best pieces of news from this year’s show. Far Cry 3 will have four player co-op!

Far Cry 3′s co-op campaign will feature four new characters and its own story that will be different from that of the single player campaign. Ubisoft did show a live demo but didn’t detail how this mode would work with the open world nature of the main campaign but it did look at least as action packed as anything we’ve seen on Far Cry 3 yet.
Far Cry 3 will also be shipping with a built in Map Editor and some PS3 exclusive DLC. Check out the E3 2012 trailer below:
