Continuing Ubisoft’s deluge of awesome news at E3 2012, they are announcing Assassin’s Creed 3 Liberation exclusively for the PS Vita. This isn’t simply a port of Assassin’s Creed 3 with a few different features from the console version, as you may have been expecting, but a full fledged, separate story staring a new Assassin.
Aveline’s story will take place in New Orleans in the year 1765. She will be battling Spanish forces who are moving up from the south in an attempt to take over Louisiana. Assassin’s Creed 3 Liberation is designed to take advantage of the special control schemes available on the PS Vita.
