The man with the Golden Gun.
Each level in Max Payne 3 features one, or more, Golden Guns that can be assembled by collecting three parts scattered throughout the level. This guide will give you the locations of all of these Golden Guns broken down by chapter. You can also check out the Golden Gun locations guide Part One here or from the Guides tab above.
Chapter 6
MD-97L Part 1 – After clearing the first round of bad guys go to the left side of the room near the door you entered. The part will be behind a desk.
MD-97L Part 2 – On a bridge by the waterfall, you can pick it up after talking with the boss.
MD-97L Part 3 – In a display case on the right side of the lobby, can be grabbed after the jeep crashes through the front doors.
Chapter 7
Sawn Off Part 1 – In the bathroom of the strip club directly opposite the stage.
Sawn Off Part 2 – After you find the thugs you met at the start of the level the part is outside the small room in the warehouse, after the thugs kick the door in.
SPAS 15 Part 1 – During the same battle as the Sawn Off part 2, after you cross the warehouse and go up the stairs on the other side this part is behind some barrels.
SPAS 15 Part 2 - After you exit the warehouse, you will have to go through a train cart, and then a gate which triggers a new cutscene. In this area, to the right, are some rusted iron platforms. The part is behind them near a wall with blue grafitti.
SPAS 15 Part 3 – Later in this section of the Favella will jump down off a platform after being spotted by an enemy lookout. Loop around to the back of this platform to find the part.
Sawn Off Part 3 – After you blow up the drug house and enter the heavily guarded area this part is in the first area under a tree with big leaves.
Chapter 8
Auto 9mm Part 1 – In the second area of the cemetery there is a staircase with two crypts to the right of it, the part will be in front of them.
608 Bull Part 1 – Find the circular monument with the pillar in the center, the part will be on the right.
Auto 9mm Part 2 – In the section where there are urns under arches, take the hall to the right and the part will be in place of one of the urns.
608 Bull Part 2 – After saving Passos and clearing the area you will see a circle of pillars with a sarcophagus in the center, the part is next to it.
Auto 9mm Part 3 – Once you’re inside the building in the next section you will find a small room with a sink, the part is in there.
608 Bull Part 3 – This part is inside the church, under the lectern on the stage.
Chapter 9
DE .50 Part 1 – After the second cut-scene you will see a two storey building with a destroyed upper floor and white door on the ground floor. The part is in front of the door.
M972 Part 1 – Inside the building where you see a woman run away and lock a door, find the bathroom in this building and the part will be there.
M972 Part 2 – After the helicopter section this part will be on the left as you exit the building.
DE .50 Part 2 – When you find yourself in a back yard after a cut scene you will find this part in some tall grass with some tires.
M972 Part 3 – Look for the house with the bright green mat in front of it, the part is near the dead end of the street.
DE .50 Part 3 – After crossing a balcony you will see a room with barred windows, you can enter the gate on the left to find this part.
Chapter 10
FAL Part 1 – In the starting area there is part of a bus you can enter, the part is inside.
M4 Super 90 Part 1 – Inside the garage there is a small hut, the part is inside there.
M4 Super 90 Part 2 – After Giovanna lowers the stairs don’t go down, look for a workbench to find a part first.
FAL Part 2 – After clearing the next area the bus will be open, look inside for this part.
M4 Super 90 Part 3 – Inside the office building there will be an office to the right, the part is inside.
FAL Part 3 – On the ground floor of the office building this part will be near a large desk opposite a bank of computers.
