United Front’s upcoming Hong Kong crime action game Sleeping Dogs wants you to know that it isn’t taking combat for granted. You knew there was going to be lots of kicking in this game but here a few things you may not have expected.
When it comes to hand-to-hand combat you’ll be able to upgrade your moves and learn new techniques to take down the gangs of enemies you’ll be facing. New strikes, finishing moves, grapples and counters will be available to the player as they aim to become the baddest cop on the island.
Rounding it all out is environmental hazards that can be taken advantage of for some truly gruesome finishes. Push an enemy down onto a lit stove? Check. Drop another one on a broken post sticking out of the ground? Sure. Slam your opponent’s head in the freezer door? We’ve got that. Check out Sleeping Dogs in action below:
