A quick look at one of the new maps.
The next expansion for Battlefield 3, Close Quarters, is set to release this June, and today DICE have shown off another one of the new maps, Donya Fortress.
Aside from getting to see more of the HD Destruction that will let us shred the maps to pieces even more than we already can in BF3, DICE also revealed a new multiplayer mode that will be included in the Close Quarters Expansion DLC called Conquest Domination. DICE state this new game mode is “basically a clever mix of the tactical Conquest mode and the instant action gameplay approach in Close Quarters, tailored to the tight level design and frantic close quarters combat.”
The Close Quarters Expansion is set to release in June, one week early on PS3, and will cost you 1200 MS Points ($14.99). Check out the gameplayer trailer for the new Donya Fortress map below.
