Volition have been busy supporting Saints Row The Third since its release last November with a pile of a weapon and costume DLC packs, and three full size mission based DLC as well.
Before you keep reading, there are spoilers about the original story coming up. So if you haven’t played it yet and don’t want to ruin the story for yourself, go play it before you read about or play this DLC.
The Trouble With Clones centers around Jimmy Torbitson, who is a Scientist and one of the Saints biggest fans. One day while working in his lab, he has a breakthrough and is able to successfully clone the former leader of the Saints, Johnny Gat, who died during the main game. The only problem is that things go terribly wrong and the clone doesn’t turn out quite right and is unleashed to wreak havoc on the citizens of Steelport. The DLC also includes a new version of the Saints Energy drink which grants you extra powers such as super speed and a new firewball attack that looks like something a Jedi would be able to do.
The Trouble With Clones comes out tomorrow on March 20th for 560MS Points on Xbox 360, or $6.99 on PS3 and PC. Check out the official trailer below.
