Your kids are going to bug you all year for this one.
Activision announced today that the follow-up to their smash hit kids Action-RPG game Skylanders, is due to be released this fall.
Titled Skylanders: Giants, is a brand new game that will feature 8 new Giants, and 8 new regular sized Skylanders (all with new attacks and abilities), bigger new worlds, more challenges, and more hats. From what we know so far, the sequel will be compatible with the old Portal, and all of the original Skylander characters as well, with their stats preserved and carried over to the new game. It sounds like they are putting a lot of effort in to helping parents save some money, and since this game is geared mostly to kids ( I recently started to play it and it’s pretty fun, watch for our late review soon), that is always a great thing to hear.
Watch the debut trailer and check out the first screenshots for Skylanders Giants below, but maybe don’t tell your kids just yet, unless you want to hear about it all day long for the next 9 months.
