A new Zombie Action-RPG? Cool.
DoubleSix games announced today that Square Enix will be publishing their new game All Zombies Must Die, a new Action-RPG coming to XBLA, PSN and PC in 2012.
All Zombies Must Die is the spiritual successor to Burn Zombie Burn, a PS3 exclusive, where you play as 4 different characters to survive the Zombie Apocalypse. The way this game differentiates itself from other downloadable Zombies games of late is that it’s not just a stick shooter, but also an Action-RPG where you earn XP, level up, earn new upgrades and even have the ability to craft new weapons.
So far it all sounds great and something like a mix of Torchlight and Zombie Apocalypse. The only bad news so far is the fact they say it’s 2-4 player OFFLINE co-op only, but hopefully this will change and they will include online co-op as well. It’s 2011, online co-op is a must have for this type of game. Please don’t make this mistake DoubleSix.
