Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Announced

The true sequel is official.

We’ve been waiting for the obvious sequel to Transformers: War for Cybertron for a while, and today via gameinformer.com High Moon Studios has officially announced the game is in development.

The game is set for 2012 but they haven’t provided any other game specifics yet, only this brief paragraph:

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron continues the story of the Autobots and the Decepticons and their bitter civil war, but changes and improves upon so many of the fundamental ideas that the developer considers the game a natural successor rather than a true sequel.

High Moon’s War for Cybertron is the winner of “best game you didn’t play because you thought it would suck because the movie games all sucked”. Everyone should play it, then they’ll understand why I’m so pumped about this.

  oooooooooohhhhh MAN!!!!!!! this news is almost as good as the time McDonalds announced breahfast would be served at 5am instead of 6am (via the 24 hour drive thru). Best transformer adaptation and one of the funnest co-op campaigns around! STOKED!!!!
