Wrangle up some friends, it’s time for some co-op.
Techland are taking Call of Juarez: The Cartel out of the old west and into modern-day Los Angeles. This new update is a fresh start for the series that hasn’t been all that great, critically or commercially.
This time around you play as three law enforcement agents working together to take down a Mexican Drug Cartel that is supplying shipments into the US. The best part is for the first time in the series, during the campaign, you’re not alone.
You and two friends can play through the story mode together. It’s like they know us so well. The story mode allows you to play three player co-op with drop-in, drop-out support. You each play as one of the three main characters who all have their own back story so there is a lot of replay value to play as each character. Together you can play through the entire 15 mission campaign together. Three player co-op is almost as good as 4 player but not quite, and it is starting to become more common these days, and hey, it’s better than zero player co-op.
Check out the trailer below for a closer look at playing co-op in Call of Juarez The Cartel.
